L. Vijayanathan (B.Sc. Agriculture; M.A. International Relations,
and M.Sc. Human Security) is a Programming and Project Management
and Monitoring Specialist with twenty years of professional experience
in the field of international development. He currently works as
Senior Advisor to the Royal Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi. His
professional duties include Project Appraisal in the fields of Climate,
Energy and Environment, Liaison with donor agencies and Development
Fund Administration. He has managed a large number of multimillion
dollar development projects in all parts of Sri Lanka including
several the Northern Province, Eastern Province and the plantation
districts in the central highlands
